Dr. Coran is experienced in the development of products for the rubber and thermoplastic elastomer industries; moreover, he is an author and inventor with well over 200 technical papers and US patents. He provides consulting services in areas such as: rubber compounding for optimum properties; producing thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) based on dynamic vulcanization technology, i.e., thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs); blending recycled waste rubbers and plastics; compatibilizing rubber/plastic blends; developing rubber/fiber composites; dispersing of fillers; and using basic rubber chemicals, e.g., accelerators, premature vulcanization inhibitors, antidegradants, etc. Dr. Coran also conducts training sessions for scientists and technologists.
